Dr. Zubair Khan - Owner/Optometrist
Dr. Khan is an independent eye doctor who started Fort Wayne Vision Associates in 2004 to provide optometric services in an exclusive agreement with the national chain, Dr. Barnes EyeMart Express. He was born and raised in Chicago and went to college at Loyola University of Chicago and went to Optometry school at the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Khan is active in the community and was honored in 2014 by Business Weekly as a 40 under 40 award winner and appeared on 5 segments of Wane TV's "Voices of the Future". In 2015 Dr. Khan was honored to have been selected and graduate from the FBI's Citizen Academy. He also served on the Steering committee with other community leaders for the Regional Cities Initiative. Along with his eye practice, Dr. Khan and his wife own Kiddie Academy an educational child care center which they opened in late 2013. Dr. Khan is married with 3 children and loves to travel, play basketball, run, and hang out with family and friends.
Dr. Khan is a member of the American Optometric Association and Indiana Optometric Association.
Dr. Richard Klaehn - Optometrist
Dr. Klaehn is an independent eye doctor and has been with Fort Wayne Vision Associates since 2011. He graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry and has gained a lot experience in his career. In his free time, Dr. Klaehn is passionate about riding his Harley and spending time with his family.
Penney B. - Manager
Penney is the Office Manager and has been with the practice since 2004. She handles all of our day to day workings of the practice. She enjoys seeing our returning patients come back every year and makes sure all of our patients are well taken care of. Penney in her free time loves to go hiking, four wheeling, reading Nora Roberts novels, traveling, and spending time with her two kids and six grandchildren.
Kim is an optometric technician and has been in the Optometry field since 2003. She joined Fort Wayne Vision Associates in 2011 and gets a great sense of accomplishment by teaching patients how to wear contacts for the first time. She is a single mother of three children. In her free time she loves to go camping, boating, photography, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Bethany joined the practice in 2013 and is currently a student at Indiana Tech. She has a passion for helping people and volunteers her time every year for Toys for Tots.
